Back from California

I am back from California since the 17th, and I have to say I had great time over there. (Always good time everything is free).Despite the fact that I was there for some training sessions, I took the opportunity to visit the area of

Los Angeles. I have been visiting Hollywood and West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Beverly Hills,

Long Beach, Tijuana etc etc.., I will add some pictures pretty soon.Except the travel-tour side of the trip, I was there to follow FileNet training courses on Image Services.Image Services in one of the FileNet products, FileNet Corporation provide a full range of solutions to store a large amount of documents (any type) into a safe system are able to store several millions of documents safely. These documents are retrievable in a couple of seconds using a search program which include several possible search conditions such as “name, date, size..” and it can also include conditions on the document itself (because the import process is an OCR and image detection process as well).Several major companies are currently using this Software family to store the customer documents; it’s actually the safest way to do it.So my trip in

L.A. was to follow training courses about the IS Administration and Advance Administration. That was very tough, for two reasons, first I have never seen a such system before, and then the training was in “American” probably based on “English” of course but from a native French point of view it’s very different: pTwo days ago I passed the two certifications regarding the training courses, with success, and I have 3 more left to obtain the full certification process for FileNet (FCP). I think I can handle it in the next three months, I hope that will prompt my managers to send me back again in

L.A.!See you

Guess what ? The good news has arrived

Hey guys, The good news i was expecting is now arrived. In some days i will leave my company “Hewlett Packard” for a new start. HP learned me much, that’s true, but from my point of view they don’t have enough consideration for their employees. My new position will be working in IBM, my daily job will be to work on the FileNet software. I am very proud of this opportunity, it was very hard for me to achieve, and i didn’t believe that i got the job untill the last interview. Now its done, the contract is signed already, and my start date is the 8th of January. Meanwhile, i go back to France (

Paris) to have short holidays with my family and few friends. See you guys!!
